Situated at the doorstep of our bustling factory and alongside the Great Fish River that irrigates our nearby Just Milk pastures, the Cookhouse Creamery Factory Shop offers more than just a place to purchase cheese — it embodies who we are.
Guided by our ethos of authenticity, accessibility, and community, the Factory Shop was established with two clear intentions:

We believe that quality dairy should be within everyone’s reach. That’s why we sell our fresh unpasteurized and truly full cream milk directly into the local community and offer a selection of our cheese and butter at the lowest possible price. It is our way of ensuring the people of Cookhouse and the surrounding area benefit from the products produced by their very own family and friends.
Alongside our own range of dairy products, we’re proud to stock a curated selection of locally made goods — supporting fellow farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs while giving our visitors a true taste of the region.
Our Factory Shop also acts as a window into our production process and is an invitation to learn. We welcome guests to experience the story behind the cheese — from pasture to plate. With informative displays and a behind-the-scenes look at the production processes we use, the shop offers an engaging and educational experience for adults and children alike. Every year we participate in the Bedford Country Gardens Exhibition where we invite visitors onto our premises to lay their eyes on the process that turns our great milk into great cheese.
